Your loan file is read on your device. When you choose your studentaid.gov file, the browser reads it locally. The raw file is never uploaded, and your name from it is never sent to us.

What our server sees. To rank the plans, the browser sends your answers (income, household, filing status, goal, and the parsed loan list: balances, rates, dates, servicer) to our server, which computes the ranking and sends it back. Nothing is stored from that request unless you have an account.

What we store, and when. When you enter your email at the end of the questions, or you buy the plan kit, we save your email address and those same answers so your ranking and plan open on any device. We also keep your checklist state, your reminder preference, and your purchase record. Documents are generated from the stored answers when you download them and are not kept.

Your browser. Your answers, your checklist and a sign-in token live in this browser's local storage so the pages work without an account and across the trip to Stripe. Clear it from your browser settings at any time.

Payment. Checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive the confirmation, the email you gave Stripe, and the amount. We never see your card.

Email. We send four kinds of email: your comparison when you ask, your plan when you buy, sign-in links, and reminders before the deadline and before recertification if you opted in. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or share your address.

No tracking. No analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no third-party fonts or scripts. Everything the page loads comes from rightrepay.com. Our server logs record request times and IP addresses for security and are deleted within 30 days.

Deleting your data. Email help@rightrepay.com from the address on the account and everything is deleted within 7 days.
